knoten letterpress is an indie letterpress based in Tokyo, Japan. The name was inspired from "knoten" in German. By emphasizing the texture and the colors of the paper, as well as the hues of the ink, knoten specializes in producing small-batched paper-related goods with letterpress machine.

In 2019, knoten letterpress and Tsurugido Letterpress formed a new brand Rokushosha. Their award-winning collaboration "Constellation of Animals" washi tape seal has brought the washi tape game to another new level. The three-color series beautifully illustrates the changing night sky and constellation with advanced printing technology.
