Fulfillment Associate (Part-time) | Pasadena CA

Who are we?

Pinky Elephant is an online stationery shop that focused on stationery and craft supplies from Asian countries. You can find more on our About Us page.

We are looking for someone to join us as a part-time fulfillment associate in our office in Pasadena, CA.

This is an on-site only position. The ideal candidate must be located in the Greater Los Angeles area and have access to reliable transportation in order to be considered.

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Attention to details, strong organizational skills and curious to learn;
  • Genuinely kind, thoughtful, and with a strong work ethic;
  • Patient, courteous, and empathetic;
  • Flexible on time or available for overtime if needed.

Great to have but not required: 

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about stationery and creative journaling;
  • Experience in fulfillment or customer service in e-commerce industry;
  • Basics of capturing images/videos, with experience of Canva will be a plus;
  • Proficiency in an East Asian Language such as Japanese or Chinese;
  • Well-versed in social media especially instagram or Tik Tok.

Primary Duties: 

  • Pick customer orders from stock and package orders (beautifully) for shipping; (70%)
  • Restock items to the shelves, organize the stocking area and periodically perform inventory check; (20%)
  • Occasionally help on creating content and social media posting; (5%)
  • Resolve customer issues with orders, refunds, and exchanges. (5%)

Physical demands of the job:

  • Ability to perform stand up and bend down repeatedly to retrieve items from floor and shelves;
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. at floor level and / or team lift when necessary.

Hours Requirements:

  • Must work in our Pasadena office for a minimum of 16 hours per workweek. 

Compensation:

  • Starting rate of $ 20.00 / hour
