Crafted in the historic Japanese city of Kyoto, Tag Stationery's Kyo No Oto (京の音)inks showcase traditional Japanese colors, drawing inspiration from the city's rich scenery and culture.

This color represents the reddish-brown hue of ripe, fallen chestnuts. In The Tale of Genji, it is described: "A long, narrow robe of dull blue, paired with a fallen chestnut color, and other hues beloved by people of the past, forming a splendid set of lined hakama..." This indicates that this color was favored in those times.

Please note that Tag Stationery's water-based inks are produced in small batches, which may result in slight color variations between bottles.
