Operation Associate (Part-time) | Pasadena CA

We are looking for someone to join us as a part-time operation associate in our office in Pasadena, CA.

This is an on-site only position. The ideal candidate must be located in the Greater Los Angeles area and have access to reliable transportation in order to be considered.

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about stationery and creative journaling;
  • Genuinely kind, thoughtful, and with a strong work ethic;
  • Attention to details, strong organizational skills and curious to learn;
  • Patient, courteous, and empathetic;
  • Available for overtime if needed.

Plus: 

  • A creative journal that you can share with us;
  • Basic of capturing images/videos, with experience of editing tool such as Adobe Creative Suites or Canva;
  • Proficiency in an East Asian Language such as Japanese or Chinese;
  • Experience in fulfillment or customer service in e-commerce industry;
  • Well-versed in social media.

Primary Duties: 

  • Pick customer orders from stock and package orders (beautifully) for shipping; (70%)
  • Restock items to the shelves, organize the stocking area and periodically perform inventory check; (15%)
  • Occasionally help on creating content and social media posting; (10%)
  • Resolve customer issues with orders, refunds, and exchanges. (5%)

Physical demands of the job:

  • Ability to perform stand up and bend down repeatedly to retrieve items from floor and shelves;
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. at floor level and / or team lift when necessary.

Hours Requirements:

  • Must work in our Pasadena office for a minimum of 16 hours per workweek. Preferably two non-consecutive weekdays.

Compensation:

  • Starting rate of $ 20.00 / hour
  • Opportunities for raises based on semi-annual performance review.
